Site Design or Consulting
Houndstooth Media will work with you to provide a Web site that adeptly compliments your small business or artistic venture. Many people have a site design in mind, while others want ideas suggested to them. We can help in either case. Whether it is assisting a client bring their vision to life or creating a site from the ground up, Houndstooth can help by suggesting fonts and colors, imagery, even logos. Our primary goal is exceeding our client's expectations and rewarding their investment in us with a Web site that captures the soul the of their businesses and endeavors.

Training in Web Design Basics
We can train you to manage and update content and change design elements on your own using programs such as Macromedia Dreamweaver and Adobe Photoshop. We will provide the software and a training manual plus walk you through the learning process via a series of training sessions. Weather you simply want to update text and commentary or completely take over the development of the site, Houndstooth can work with you to get it up and going. There are two training packages.

Dreamweaver training
We will install Macromedia Dreamweaver on your machine and train you on its basics. Use as many three hour sessions as you need. When you feel comfortable and have developed the agility to do what you need to do. The sessions will be finished. Training includes a copy of Macromedia Dreamweaver software and a training guide. Be advised this is a basic training session in this software and does not include elements such as Java, CSS, or PHP. This session is only recommended for simple updating of content or site design, not launching an online store or database.

Photoshop training
If you would like to design your own site, it is going to greatly beneficial for you to own the latest copy of Adobe Photoshop. Using this wonderful software you can create your complete site design along with rollover images, logos, headers and all sorts of other graphic oriented images. Training includes a copy of Adobe Photoshop software and a training guide.

Content Development or Management
If you know what you want to say but don't know how to say it, we can work with you. If you know how to say it but don't have the time to write it, we can help with that too. If you need photos, slide shows, bios, a photo gallery or even a blog, Houndstooth can provide this for you. If you need information to be consistently updated to your site, we can provide that service on a contract basis.
